Link exchange or link building is the most common way to increase website traffic. It can increase your website traffic for free but get ready to invest some time. It takes time to see the increasing, but don’t worry – it will come.
What does link building is good for?
Check out this diagram. The World wide web build like a spider net that the robots/spiders crawl there to get into your site. If you have many link inbound to your site, the chances that the spiders will bump into a link to your site are bigger. One determining factor for page rank with the major search engines, is link popularity. The number of sites linking to a website address is the single biggest factor in determining what sites are indexed by Google.
Make sure the link you exchange are related to your site – it will help you to increase your website traffic.
How can I exchange links? There are many ways to show your site link to the world: Use one of the link exchange markets like linkmarket.net. You can sign up for free and start exchanging links immediately with webmasters that are there for the same reason – increase website traffic. Search for site that are relevant to your subject, write their webmasters an e-mail to ask for link exchange, before you do that place their link in your site – that can be a nice gesture. Make sure the text link you send them has the correct anchor text. What is that mean? Let's assume this page is in another site and we want to have here a text link pointing to our site. The best anchor text will be "learn here how to bring traffic to your site" this is a link to our site that show the user exactly what he will get by clicking this link, and we use one of the strongest keyword we have. You can add 'a title' tag to your link that will make it a stronger link. So the link will look like that: learn here how to bring traffic to your site" And the code will look like that: Put banners ads on other site – well this is my less favorite method. These blinking, annoying, colorful images just make me want to close the page. But sometimes it works. If the banner is interesting enough users will click on it but not necessarily will convert. Anyway you can ask your graphic designer or us to make you a nice banner and buy a media place in one of the related site you know. Make sure to have the entire statistic from the site so you can learn if the banner worked properly or not. Instead of getting to your site when clicking on the banners they can land on a landing page which say" "Special offer to Google users" 20% discount for…. Wouldnt you like to buy if you have a special offer? Final note: make sure to add constantly inbound links to your site.
