Traffic - Quality vs. Quantity

 
    In the online industry there has been a lot of talk about the generation of traffic and therefore has been a main focal point to almost all online businesses. From small website owners to corporate CEO’s they are all asking the same question: how can I generate traffic to my website? I have seen a lot of people with traffic that is quite useless, due to the fact that the visitors coming to their website are not at all interested in the product/service they provide. It is more valuable to have a lot less traffic but higher quality than having thousands of useless visitors coming to your website. A perfect example would be a website that is selling computers online should not be receiving visitors looking for a dog house. So to cut a long story short spend your time thinking of highly targeted ways of receiving traffic instead of thinking of getting tons of traffic. A good example of a highly targeted form of online marketing would be using Google Ad Words for keywords that are very targeted to your product/service. If you keep this in mind you will notice a much better return on your investment and also better conversion ratio.
